QUILTING

Snowman Applique

Using the Laurie Kent Designs pattern, this class will focus on working on appliqué skills. Participants should be confident beginners in their sewing. The snowman can be finished into a table topper, wall hanging, pillow, etc. The class will focus on the appliqué primarily.

Students will need to bring scissors, a rotary cutter, small ruler, pen/pencil, thread, small cutting mat, stileto, seam ripper, clips or pins, and machine. An extension table for your machine is helpful.

The course fee includes the pattern and supplies needed to make the appliqué top. A rental machine is available by contacting the shop.

Sew a Layer Cake

Sew a Layer Cake

October 19 at 5:30 p.m. OR

October 20 at 1:00 p.m.

Class is designed for a confident beginner (familiarity with your machine and prior piecing experience). The class will focus on learning the block and the quilt would be finished at home.

Supplies needed: Layer Cake, .5 yards inner border, 1 yard outer border, and .5 yard binding, sewing machine, and basic sewing supplies (e.g., thread, seam ripper, ruler rotary cutter, small mat, scissors, etc.)

Cost: $35

Sample is 51”x 60” and made with Hallo Harvest (not available in the shop)
